Just gorgeous. It's cold & wintery here in Melbourne today too & they certainly brightened my day too.

No way! Cold and wet in Brisbane??? It must be opposite day, because Hobart is basking in sunshine and a steamy 14 degrees today. I am stripped down to a long sleeved top and cardy! Jealous much?

Yep, it is really cold and miserable today, isn't it? These orchids are gorgeous - it's a pity mine are looking sad and flowerless at the moment! K xx

Hi Viera, yes a bit yuk today... I got stuck into some painting... Those orchids are lovely. My Dad is waiting on me to get a pot organised so that he can give me a lovely orchid. I will have to hurry up! These are a good reminder!

Don't the sight of blooming orchids brighten any day?!?

I'd send you some Dutch flowers if I could. Can't so I put them on my blog. It looks cold in South Africa, too. Yesterday was the summer solstice here, lots of sun.

the simple lines of the orchids are so delicate, very sculptural.

I love orchids! So elegant and beautiful (and expensive!) and I love the woven basket full of logs. Warm and inviting!

Hope you have a sunny weekend, Viera!
